Craig McKinnon: Just Not Into Ali Fedotowsky

Craig McKinnon, Ali Fedotowsky

If you watched The Bachelorette Monday, you couldn't help but hate (or love to hate) the Canadian hothead with the big mouth and used car salesman hair.

It was apparent to everyone - poor weatherman Jonathan Novack, Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky and millions of viewers - that Craig M. is a sociopath.

Still, that doesn't mean he wasn't fun to watch.

Ousted during the rose ceremony, Craig M. (for McKinnon, or Machismo) says there are no hard feelings, as he didn’t feel “a natural connection” anyway.

The Toronto native reflected on his short but memorable stint on The Bachelorette on a conference call this week. Here's what he had to say about ...

Nagging Jonathan: "The weatherman situation was not serious at all. I was totally joking. Jonathan ... is a good guy who took things the wrong way."

On being portrayed as a bully: "I guess I was portrayed [as a villain]. People who know me laughed their heads off and had a great time watching."

On his one regret: "Jesse and I in the kitchen. I wasn’t proud of that. The next morning we apologized to each other. It was inappropriate behavior."

On why he didn't get a rose: "Jonathan saying I was stirring up trouble and Ali [knowing] I wasn’t interested ... That probably trumped what he said."

On why he went on the show in the first place: "To find someone I could love and possibly get to the point of engagement. That was my purpose."

"But also for the experience. Anyone who says they aren’t there for an experience is lying. When I saw it was Ali, I wanted to still go on and have fun."

On Justin “Rated R” Rego: "The wrestler seemed pretty decent. Probably wasn’t there for the right reasons, but he didn’t seem like that bad a guy."

On his picks for Ali Fedotowsky: "Kirk, Roberto Martinez and Chris Lambton are a good fit. Those three seem really genuine about why they’re there."

Episode 2: 14 Guys Remaining!

Name: Jesse
Age: 24
Occupation: General Contractor
Hometown: Peculiar, MO

Jessie won the second one-on-one date with Ali. They flew to Vegas on a private jet. He was able to make Ali feel safe as we all know she has a fear of flying. I think that Jessie is a very good looking guy and there's a bit of chemistry between them. I don't know if he will be one of the final guys but I can't wait to see their relationship grow.

Name: John C.
Age: 32
Occupation: Hotel Business Development
Hometown: Issaquah, WA

John C has managed to survive two rose ceremonies in the Bachelor mansion. He seems like a really sweet guy but we still haven't seen Ali and him alone yet.

Name: Jonathan
Age: 30
Occupation: Weatherman
Hometown: Houston, TX

Jonathan was able to make Ali fall for him after he handed her a sunshine button. Yes it was corny but Ali absolutely loved it. He has become Ali's informant after he "dared to take the tattletale route" and tell the Bachelorette of Craig M's intentions. We all know that in the past, the informant never survives the rose ceremony, but Ali decided to listen to the weatherman.

I think that an amazing friendship is building between Jonathan and Ali and I don't see it becoming a romantic one!

Name: Justin
Age: 26
Occupation: Entertainment Wrestler
Hometown: Toronto, CA

Ok when I saw him step out the limo, my "Bullshit Detector" went crazy. I knew that he was bad news. The type of guy that can lie is way through anything and ppl will believe him. Ali still hasn't seen it and hopefully she will soon.

Name: Kasey
Age: 27
Occupation: Advertising Account Executive
Hometown: Clovis, CA

I still don't know how Kasey has managed to survive after two rose ceremonies.

Name: Kirk
Age: 27
Occupation: Sales Consultant
Hometown: Green Bay, WI

Kirk has managed to stay away from all the crazy drama unfolding in the Bachelor Mansion. I give him major points for that. He seems like an amazing guy and I want to see him interact with Ali more. He's still a mystery to all of us.

Name: Chris L.
Age: 33
Profession: Landscaper
Hometown: Cape Cod, MA

Chris L seems like such a sweetheart. He's definitely here for the right reasons and hopefully we get to see him on a one-on-one date next week.

Name: Roberto
Age: 26
Occupation: Insurance Agent
Hometown: Charleston, SC

Roberto is one good looking dude. He got the first impression rose and Ali hasn't stopped blushing ever since. He is such a sweetheart and he is the only guy to have such chemistry with Ali. I'm still wondering why he hasn't had a one-on-one date with Ali. I definitely see him in the top three and I can't wait to see more Ali and Roberto.

Name: Steve
Age: 28
Occupation: Sales Representative
Hometown: Cleveland, OH

Steve has survived two rose ceremonies and he seems like a sweet and sincere guy.

Name: Ty
Age: 31
Occupation: Medical Sales
Hometown: Nashville, TN

Ty is such a sweetheart. I love that he was honest and sincere with Ali right in the beginning. It was really brave of him and I hope that he sticks around for a while.

Name: Chris N.
Age: 29
Profession: Entrepreneur
Hometown: Orlando, FL

He seems to be here for the right reasons.

Name: Craig R.
Age: 27
Occupation: Lawyer
Hometown: Philadelphia, PA

Only seriously! Who said that orange is the new black?

Name: Frank
Age: 31
Occupation: Retail Manager
Hometown: Geneva, IL

Frank won the first "one-on-one" date with Ali Fedotowsky. I totally respect the fact that he was able to leave his full time job and focus on his "screen writing." It takes alot of guts to do that and I give him major points for that. Ali and Frank hit it off right away but I don't see this chemistry that they kept referring too! All I can see is they have an amazing friendship building and that's it.

I don't see it at all! Also I hated the fact that he interrupted Kasey's few moments with Ali. Come on Frank, you had a whole day with her and you already have a rose, don't be so full of yourself and this "amazing chemistry" you keep referring too!

Name: Hunter
Age: 28
Occupation: Internet Account Executive
Hometown: San Antonio, TX

So far, I don't have much to say about Hunter. He seems like a sweet, honest guy but we haven't seen alot of him. Hopefully we will soon!

Episode 2: Who's Left the Bachelor Mansion

Name: Chris H.
Age: 27
Profession: Real Estate Developer
Hometown: Vancouver, Canada

Chris H packed his bags after the second episode. It seemed to me that we didn't see at all on camera. None of his conversations with Ali were aired and we didn't get to know him at all. Interesting. I thought that he would have been a good match with Ali but it seems that she doesn't agree. What were your thoughts on Chris H's exit?

Name: Craig M.
Age: 34
Profession: Dental Sales
Hometown: Sarnia, Canada

Mr. Big Haired Craig M FINALLY backed his bags after episode 2. Ali was finally able to see his true colours after Jonathan aka "The Weatherman" snitched him out. He was never there for Ali and you definitely could tell after his few mins with Ali. Did anyone else see how uncomfortable he was. WOW! I still don't know what his real intentions were to come on the show but they definitely were not for The Bachelorette. What were your thoughts on Craig M's exit?

Name: Tyler V.
Age: 25
Occupation: Online Advertising
Hometown: Chelsea, VT

Ok was anyone not surprised that Tyler V was packing his bags after episode 2. Their was no chemistry between Ali and Tyler. I think that it was a good idea that he left the mansion. Yes he seemed like a nice guy but that was ALL!
What were your thoughts after Tyler V's exit?

Ousted Bachelor Jay: Who Ali Should Pick

Source: Us News

Jay, a 29-year-old attorney from Barrington, R.I., holds a dubious distinction: he was one of ten suitors to be shown the door by Ali Fedotowsky on Monday's season premiere of The Bachelorette.

"Well, it was a good time," Jay told UsMagazine.com at Tuesday's Dragonette performance at A/X in Hollywood. "You're not used to going into a situation where there are about 50 cameras and 24 other guys really aggressive and really, really wanting to be there."

Now that Jay's out of the running, who should be Ali's final choice?

"Chris from Cape Cod was a really good guy," he told Us of Chris L., a hunky landscaper from Cape Cod, Mass. "They kind of hit it off really well...He was really funny and she seemed to really like him initially."

One personal detail Chris L. shared with the cameras but not with Fedotowsky: he had left New York City to care for his dying mother. "I was happy he didn't get into the whole story about his mom passing away which is terrible," Jay said.
"He could've used that card maybe to play that up...he's a really good guy and I hope it works out for them."

Jay has no hard feelings after being ousted. "Ali's gorgeous," he told reporters of the 25-year-old Bachelorette. "She's so nice!"

Family of Bachelorette contestant excited about season premiere

Source: Canada.com

Will Canadian hottie Chris Hasek win Ali's final rose?

Friends and family of Campbell River's Chris Hasek-Watt will be glued to their television sets at 9 p.m. Monday when the season premiere of The Bachelorette airs.

Hasek-Watt, 27, is one of the bachelors aiming to win the heart of Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky, 25, on the sixth season of the popular reality show that airs on ABC. His mother Jana Watt of Campbell River said she can't wait to see Monday's show.

"We're really excited, I had no idea how popular the show was all over the world," Watt said. "A lot of his friends are really excited and we'll be getting together to watch Monday night."

Hasek-Watt was born and raised in Campbell River and attended Pinecrest, Robron and Timberline schools. He loves sports and was particularly well known as a talented world-ranked junior tennis player.

"He's a great tennis player," Watt said. "He played on the BC team and he still plays a lot."

Hasek-Watt attended UBC and is now an account manager with a real-estate development company in Vancouver. He still loves sports and plays golf, basketball and hockey as well as tennis.

"We're very proud of him," his mom said. "He's very motivated, he's very competitive - I don't know if that's a good or bad thing - and he works hard to get ahead."

She said friends of her son suggested he'd be a good contestant on The Bachelorette so he sent in an application.

"They started with thousands of applicants and then just kept narrowing it down," Watt said.

Hasek-Watt traveled to Los Angeles and took part in the taping of the show at a mansion earlier this year. Secrecy is key and he is not allowed to reveal anything that happened during the taping of the series, Watt said.

The Bachelorette premieres at 9 p.m. Monday on ABC.

The Bachelorette: B.C. contestant Chris Hasek-Watt jumps from real estate to reality TV

For all intents and purposes, B.C.-based Bachelorette contestant Chris Hasek-Watt seems like a decent, athletic guy with a brain in his head and a big future.

He's destroyed all comers in Vancouver's Jericho Tennis Club 5.0 division, having won both the singles and double championships in 2008. He was once ranked equal-993rd in the world as a junior.

He received a Bachelor's Degree in commerce from the University of British Columbia in 2007, which helped him become an account manager at the Calgary-based Walton International Group, a global real-estate development company. On LinkedIn, he lists his interests as continuous learning, real-estate investments, competition, friendships, compassion, integrity, and willingness to succeed. He's a near-scratch golfer and plays basketball and hockey for fun.

Your grandmother would adore him. Your boss would hire him. Your guy friends would 'bromance' him. You'd probably buy an overpriced condo from him. He has it all.

So who can say why he'd dive headlong into the shadowy world of reality television, especially on a TV show like ABC's The Bachelorette, in which the point of the exercise is to compete with 24 strangers for the ring finger of a woman he hasn't yet met.

Perhaps some insight can be gained from his Twitter feed of last year, where he said, "There are two types of people in the world, Somebody’s and Nobody’s [sic]. Presently I’m a Nobody."

Well, that's about to change.

"Bring on those boys," says the object of his latest exercise, advertising account manager Ali Fedotowsky, 25. "I'm back - and I'm ready to find love!"
Though the line-up of bachelors hasn't yet been officially released, early promotional materials for the sixth season of the show has locals yapping that Hasek-Watt is one the 25 men involved. In fact, the Hasek-Watt chatter is so intense that a Facebook fanpage has popped up (http://bit.ly/bachy6) for those who adore the chisel-jawed overhead smash.

But it won't be a walk in the park for the west-coast mover-and-shaker, who will have to really break his back to beat the quality of some of the other competitors on the show, many of whom seem like they got lost on their way to auditions for Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader (the answer: hardly).
Take "Shooter," who says he gained his nickname after an unfortunate sexual incident in college. Then there's Justin ("Rated-R") Rego, a professional wrestler who really wears a leg cast with panache. And let's not forget Scott "The Mountain Man," who likes to kill and stuff animals of all varieties and says he's going to "bring someone home to take care" of him and his dog.
Frankly, if you don't get all teary-eyed when mixing romance and taxidermy, you're a cold-hearted cynic in need of a cuddle.

Previous seasons have boasted contestants as diverse as Mike the breakdance instructor, Mark the pizza entrepreneur, Luke the oyster farmer, and Sean the martial artist, so don't be surprised if Tyler the pirate, Juan the porn star and Hector the scrapbooker pad out the roster on season six.

For now at least, Hasek-Watt isn't talking about his Bachelorette experience. All previous posts on his Twitter account have been deleted.

I was finally able to find more information on Chris Hasek. Doesn't he just look amazing in a suit! He's my pick to win Ali's heart and I hope that he does not turn out to be another "Jake Pavelka" ahem I mean cry baby.

Meet and Rate Ali's 25 Suitors

They say to "never judge a book by its cover" but here at Bachelorette Chit Chat, we play by different rules.

Meet and rate Ali's 25 suitors! Who's the cutest? Who's going to the final two?

Name: Chris H.
Age: 27
Profession: Real Estate Developer
Hometown: Vancouver, Canada

Totally based on looks alone, I would definitely hang on to this one. Plus he's Canadian!~
